Breastfeeding Instruction and Doula Course
Self-improvement in prenatal and postnatal careers

After giving birth, apart from taking care of the baby and restoring their own strength and health, mothers are also very concerned about providing breastmilk to their babies. However, when trying to breastfeed, mothers may face various problems due to lack of skill (e.g. milk swellings, blocked/stuffed mammary glands, painful breasts, etc.). A breastfeeding coach or lactation consultant can provide appropriate guidance and emotional counseling to help mothers to go through the breastfeeding period smoothly.

The Certified Doula Course, taught by registered midwives and experienced doulas, can help students to solve many physiological and psychological problems of breastfeeding for mothers. This course is based on modern medical and anatomical theories of breastfeeding, and teaches students to identify clinical cases and recommend appropriate solutions. The Certificate in Lactation Doula Course is also equipped with Chinese acupoint massage techniques, which teaches students to alleviate the problems of breastfeeding such as lack of breastmilk, breast milk increase, and rocky breasts, and help breastfeeding mothers to give their precious breastmilk to their most cherished babies. This Doula course is suitable for those who want to work in the prenatal and postnatal industry or want to add value to their career.

*This course is included in one of the comprehensive prenatal and postnatal diplomas in empathy.
